In a forest, a group of friendly hedgehogs lived in a cozy village. Nearby, a sly group of foxes resided. The hedgehogs were known for their kindness and love for helping others.

One day, a cunning fox named Finnley concocted a plan to trick the hedgehogs. He pretended to be injured, crying out for help. The hedgehogs, being kind-hearted, rushed to his aid. Finnley pretended to have a broken leg and fell to the ground. The hedgehogs took pity on him and carefully placed him on a log. They tied the log with twine and dragged him along, pretending to be tired.

Finnley thought he had fooled the hedgehogs. He planned to wait until nightfall, when the hedgehogs were asleep, and then sneak out to eat one of them every day. He thought, “No one will ever discover me, and I’ll have a tasty meal every night!”
But little did Finnley know, the hedgehogs had a surprise in store for him. Instead of taking him to their village, they dragged him to the lions’ den!

The lions, led by the mighty Leo, were surprised to see the hedgehogs bringing them a “patient.” Finnley’s eyes widened as he realized he was in trouble.
Leo laughed and said, “Don’t worry, kind hedgehogs, we’ll take care of him.” But Finnley knew he was in danger and quickly ran away on all fours!
The hedgehogs were shocked to see Finnley’s “broken” leg suddenly healed. Leo approached them, chuckling, and said, “Your kindness has saved you, and Finnley’s cunning almost got him into trouble!”

The hedgehogs laughed, relieved that they had outsmarted the sly fox. Leo continued, “If cunning worked, Finnley wouldn’t be in this mess today.”

Hey Kids!
Do you know what’s not funny? Hurting our friends on purpose! Some people might think it’s hilarious to trick or deceive others, but that’s not humor at all. That’s just being mean!
Imagine you’re playing with your friends, and someone decides to play a trick on you. They might pour water on your shirt or knock you down. That’s not funny, right? That’s just being cruel.
A kind and well-behaved kid would never do something like that. They would always try to be kind and respectful to their friends.
But, you know who might do something like that? A sneaky fox! They might pretend to be friendly, just to trick someone. And that’s not cool at all!
So, remember: humor is supposed to be fun for everyone, not just one person. Let’s all try to be kind and respectful to each other, and never use humor to hurt someone’s feelings.
