The Story of The Dog Bobby and The Cat Nuno – Story for kids
The Story of The Dog Bobby and The Cat Nuno
On a farm, Bobby the dog lived with the farmer. He guarded the chickens and sheep from any wolves that might approach. In the house, the farmer had a spoiled cat named Nuno, which it kept to protect the house from mice.
One day, the farmer went out to the farm with the cat in his hand. When he arrived at the farm, he let it play there for a while. The cat ran all over the farm until it reached the place where the hens were cuddling their chicks.
Nuno the cat drooled and swooped down on the chicks, wanting to eat them. The loyal dog chased after it, trying to stop it. The cat was angry at the dog for preventing it from eating the chicks and approached the dog and said:
“If you don’t leave me alone, I’ll teach you a lesson.”
The faithful dog replied:
“The farmer made me the guard of his farm to protect it from the wolf. How can I let you eat the chicks!”
While the two were arguing, the farmer came and took the cat in his arms, and left. The dog looked at the cat sharply, realizing that the cat would not let things go well.
The next day, the farmer started getting ready to go to the farm and left the cat at home. But the cat was planning to play a trick on the dog in revenge. What do you think it did?
The cat jumped out of the window and headed towards the forest until it met a hungry fox and said to it:
“Will I show you a farm full of chickens if you share the hunt with me ?”
The fox was overjoyed and said to the cat:
“Show me where it is and I swear I’ll give you half of what I get.”
The fox and the cat agreed on a clever plan to trap the dog and eat the chickens and chicks it was guarding.
One day, the cat kept meowing and meowing around the farmer. The farmer picked it up and said to it, stroking its back:
“I know, you sweet cat, you want to go with me.”
The man went out and mounted his horse and went to the farm with the cat, heading towards the farm while the fox watched them cautiously.
The Story of The Dog Bobby and The Cat Nuno
When the man arrived at the farm, he went straight in to check on the horses in the stable and left the cat to roam around the farm trying to provoke the dog.
Bobby the dog felt that the cat was trying to approach the chicks, so the dog chased after the cat. But the cat caught one in its mouth and ran away with it to the end of the farm.
The dog kept running after it, leaving the farm without a guard. While the dog was away from the chickens, the fox swooped in and picked out a fat chicken, and ran away with it.
The Story of The Dog Bobby and the Danger that Surrounded the Farm and the Traitor from the Inside. The farmer heard a noise outside and went out to see the wolf running away with a fat chicken in its mouth.
He stood there angrily until the dog returned with the cat in its mouth, and the cat dropped the chick from its mouth, and the farmer said angrily:
“I didn’t ask you to catch the cat, you stupid dog! The fox stole a chicken and ran away!”
The dog felt sad and wronged by what had happened to him, and the cat kept playing with its tail around the farmer, laughing at what had happened to the dog. When the farmer left, the cat approached the dog and whispered:
“He’ll sell you tomorrow because you’re a stupid dog, not fit for guarding.”
The cat followed the farmer, wagging its tail happily at its trick on Bobby the dog. When it got home, it jumped out of the window and headed towards the forest to share the chicken with the fox, but it couldn’t find it.
It kept looking for the fox until it was in the middle of the forest when three foxes surrounded it wanting to eat it!
The cat was scared and felt trapped, so it started meowing and meowing to no avail. The chicken was a delicious meal for the foxes, and the cat was their dessert after that.
When the farmer started looking for his spoiled cat, he couldn’t find him, but he found the window open, so he knew it had jumped out of it.
He searched for the cat a lot nearby but couldn’t find it, so he thought it had left him to live freely away from home. The next day, he bought another cat.
So the cat tried to trap the dog, but it fell into its own trap and was a delicious meal for the forest animals who had allied against the faithful guard dog!
Bobby loved the new cat and they started playing together. The farmer drew them a beautiful picture to commemorate their friendship.
